On this week’s podcast, I share the radio interview I did with Dr. David Anderson, on his show, Real Talk with Dr. David Anderson. He is also the founding pastor of Bridgeway Community Church in Columbia, MD.

Dr. Anderson and I have a special relationship. It was at his church that I personally experienced the final blow of church resistance as a female leader that caused me to walk away from his church.

It was my experience at his church that served as the catalyst God used to catapult me into the women’s work I’ve established to heal the relational dynamics, between men and women leaders, within our churches.

It was at his church that God set me on a path to become an advocate for women in a way that allows them to courageously pursue God’s plan for their lives whether at church or in the marketplace.

What God has done through and in my relationship with Dr. Anderson, serves as an example of what can be done with both the man and the woman who is willing to hear God and hear one another.

I invite you to listen to the podcast with an open mind and heart. The work that God requires by His laborers is not gender specific. He is looking for those who are unified, peaceable, and compassionate. Moreover, God wants us to honor one another by learning to speak to one another, not at one another.

Because of God, both men and women leaders have the capability and the capacity to serve. But it is essential that we learn first to serve one another.

With the Kingdom of God in heart and mind,

Dr. Nicole
